FAQ

Common questions about Jeelpi

What is Jeelpi?

Jeelpi is a personal tracking app for GLP-1 receptor agonist injections — medications like Mounjaro, Zepbound, Wegovy, Ozempic, Saxenda, and others prescribed for weight loss. It helps you log injections, track estimated medication levels in your body, monitor your weight, and see progress charts. Unlike most health apps, Jeelpi stores everything on your device — no accounts, no servers, no data collection.

Is Jeelpi free?

The core tracking experience — logging injections, viewing medication levels, tracking weight, and progress charts — is completely free. The free version shows ads (served by Google) to keep the app running. A one-time purchase of $2.99 (or local equivalent) removes all ads permanently and unlocks data export and backup. All other features are available to everyone.

What medications does it support?

Jeelpi supports the following GLP-1 medications:

  • Mounjaro (tirzepatide) — weekly
  • Zepbound (tirzepatide) — weekly
  • Wegovy (semaglutide) — weekly
  • Ozempic (semaglutide) — weekly
  • Saxenda (liraglutide) — daily
  • Victoza (liraglutide) — daily
  • Trulicity (dulaglutide) — weekly
  • Nevolat (liraglutide) — daily
  • Rybelsus (semaglutide) — daily oral tablet
  • Retatrutide — weekly

Each medication uses published pharmacokinetic data to estimate how much of the drug is active in your body over time. These are estimates for informational purposes only.

Where is my data stored?

All your data — injection logs, weight entries, medication settings, preferences — is stored entirely on your device using your browser's local storage. Jeelpi does not have a server and does not transmit your data anywhere. You can erase everything at any time from the Plan tab in the app.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Export and backup are Pro + Ad-Free features. Once you've purchased Pro + Ad-Free, the Plan tab shows export and import buttons that let you download all your injection logs and weight entries as a JSON file.

How accurate are the medication level estimates?

Jeelpi uses published pharmacokinetic data (drug half-life, absorption rates) to estimate the approximate level of medication in your body. These are estimates for informational purposes only — your actual levels depend on your unique metabolism, other medications, and health conditions. Do not make medical decisions based on these estimates. Always consult your healthcare provider.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Jeelpi has no user accounts, no sign-up, and no login. Your data is tied to your device and browser, not to an email or username. This means your data cannot be accessed from another device unless you manually export and import it.

What happens if I clear my browser data?

If you clear your browser's site data (cookies and local storage), your Jeelpi data will be erased. You can back up your data by exporting it from the Plan tab. On iOS/Safari, Jeelpi requests persistent storage to reduce the chance of automatic data deletion.

Is Jeelpi a medical device?

No. Jeelpi is a personal tracking tool — it is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Always consult your healthcare provider about your medication.

What are the ads in the free version?

The free version shows advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies for ad personalisation based on your browsing history. No ad-related data is linked to your Jeelpi health data, which never leaves your device. If you purchase Pro + Ad-Free, all ads and ad-related tracking are removed.

How do I install Jeelpi on my phone?

Jeelpi is a PWA (Progressive Web App). On Android, tap "Add to Home Screen" from your browser menu. On iOS, open Jeelpi in Safari, tap the Share button, and select "Add to Home Screen." Once installed, it launches from your home screen and works offline.
